The Rolex GMT-Master reference 16700, often called the "Pepsi," is a classic timepiece known for its iconic red and blue bezel. Key features include a stainless-steel case, precise self-winding Rolex Caliber 3175 movement with a GMT function, black dial with distinctive patina markers, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a durable Oyster bracelet. This vintage watch, produced from the late 1980s to the early 2000s, exudes timeless charm and is highly coveted by collectors for its historical significance and is both stylish and functional, and discontinued.
This particular example is just awesome! The Pepsi insert is excellent with a nice lite fade. The dial shows no visible wear and has a very nice warm patina with matching hands. The case is unpolished showing very prominent champhers along the lugs. The case back sticker is still intact and shows lite wear. The 78360 bracelet with 501B end inks has 12 total links and shows little to no stretch. This example is accompanied by its original box, papers, booklets, wallet, hangtags, and calendar. A true gem for the astute collector.
